The estate and the wine |

|
A crown jewel of Italian viticulture, Antinori stands as one of the global wine world’s most influential names. Its wines are highly coveted, regularly topping rankings and winning over enthusiasts around the globe.
Pioneers of the “Super Tuscan” movement—structured reds incorporating Bordeaux grape varieties—the Antinori family continues its relentless pursuit of excellence through ongoing research in both agronomy and blending.
Owned by the Antinori family since 1995, Pian delle Vigne lies just 6 km from Montalcino. The estate spans 65 hectares of vineyards exclusively planted with Sangiovese, rooted in limestone and fine gravel soils, and surrounded by 200 hectares of woods and olive groves. Like all Antinori wines, it reflects the same high standards and meticulous care—expressed here on a terroir of exceptional pedigree. |

Made from pure Sangiovese, the 2022 red Rosso di Montalcino is a wine of elegance and grace, offering beautiful notes of strawberry and cherry, accented by citrus hints and delicate floral aromas, all rounded out by subtle balsamic nuances. Its silky tannins, fresh vibrancy, and savory depth lead to a refined finish of red berries and blood orange. A flavorful, polished red that will charm lovers of refined, expressive wines. |
