The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Now counted among Burgundy’s legends and awarded 2 stars by the French wine guide RVF, Domaine Bruno Colin is a benchmark name in Chassagne-Montrachet. Since 2004, this exceptional winemaker has followed a flawless path, embracing organic farming and crafting a pure, precise, and elegant vision of Burgundian Chardonnay.

With 9 impeccably maintained hectares spread across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Saint-Aubin, the estate produces wines that are sharp, refined, and masterfully vinified, with remarkable balance between aging and tension.

Both the whites and reds impress with their precision, texture, and deep connection to their terroir, standing as some of the finest expressions of the region.
Wine From a highly stony terroir and vines aged 35 to 70 years, the 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru La Truffière White reveals remarkable finesse. Its luminous profile combines delicate pastry notes with the brilliance of pure, airy, and concentrated flavours, all underpinned by a pronounced mineral backbone. The power is perfectly balanced, delivering elegance and depth in equal measure. Rated 94/100 by RVF, this is a standout expression of the appellation.
Vinification Hand harvested. Aged for 12 months in 350-litre barrels, 15-20% of which are new, then 4-6 months in vats before bottling.
Vines covering 0.49 ha, planted in 1952 and 1987, organically grown (not certified).
