The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Leading the charge in the revival of Loire’s Volcanic terroirs, Domaine des Bérioles is at the forefront of this region’s renewal. Jean Teissèdre, with his commitment to biodynamic practices, has quickly made a name for himself, becoming the face of Saint-Pourçain’s renaissance.

His sharp, energetic style delivers reds that are both refined and complex, crafted from Pinot Noir and Gamay, alongside whites that are just as captivating and vibrant, made from Chardonnay and the rare Tressallier—a local grape he’s brought back with finesse.
Wine Offering a pure and invigorating expression of the Tressallier grape, the 2023 white IGP Val de Loire Tresaille is a precise and vibrant wine. It carries a touch of exotic fruit, especially passion fruit, balanced by remarkable freshness and full ripeness. Vinified without any oak influence, the palate delivers delicate citrus notes alongside a creamy texture, lifted by a natural acidity that adds tension and balance. This is a refined and elegant white, extended by a beautiful saline finish that remains wonderfully indulgent. Perfect to enjoy at the end of summer with rich fish dishes like grilled salmon. Rated 93/100 and a Selection Committee favorite!
Vinification Hand harvested, sorted, directly pressed, vinified and fermented at low temperature, aged 5 to 8 months in concrete vats on fine lees.
