The estate and the wine |
The Dampt brothers - Emmanuel and Eric - invested in the Chablis region more than thirty years ago. Their goal was to create wines with a strong identity in the three valleys of the Yonne, Serein and Armançon rivers. Their wide range of terroirs delivers wines of precision and accuracy, with a strong regularity. The estate is one of the most beautiful family-run businesses in Burgundy. |

Intensely mineral, the 2020 White Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos assumes its grand cru status with confidence. Very pure, slightly restrained, it smells of the limestone of its origins, coupled with floral notes. It is a complex, fresh, precise wine, which will blossom with time. A beautiful bottle to discover with marinated or smoked salmon. Rated 94/100 by the Committee. |
