Perfect ambassador of the Rhone Valley, François Villard loves to change the rules and do it with panache. His high energy and uncommon capacity for innovation constantly push him to surpass even his own achievements, forging exceptional wines that regularly rank among the best in their appellation. |

A pure Syrah, the 2021 red Côte Rôtie Le Gallet Blanc offers a delicate, precise, pure, and sapid palate surrounded by delicate tannins. Elegance is the order of the day here, maintained by 80% whole grape harvest and a deliberately shortened maturing process, partially in stainless steel tanks for greater freshness. It is thus a wine of persistence, on the refinement and the freshness with an easy access and a recall of floral aromas. A charming wine to be appreciated now. Rated 93/100 by the Committee. |
