The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Maison Guigal’s success is not just a remarkable winemaking achievement but also a deeply inspiring human story. The estate has become a true benchmark of excellence.

Renowned as icons of Rhône Valley viticulture, the legendary Côtes-Rôties—La Mouline, La Landonne, and La Turque—are the ultimate expression of this supremacy. Masterfully crafted, built to age, powerful yet refined, they offer a depth and finesse that go beyond mere emotion. These wines are timeless treasures, firmly established in the global wine heritage.
Wine Crafted from 100% Syrah, the 2021 Red Côte Rôtie La Landonne once again offers a textbook expression of its legendary terroir. Spellbinding in its complexity, both on the nose and palate, it captures the very soul of Syrah — layers of dark berries, spices, hints of licorice, and cracked pepper unfold with remarkable depth. The structure is equally intricate, combining immense power with finesse and breadth. Patience is essential to allow this monumental wine to reveal its full potential. With production limited to just 2 hectares, only a fortunate few will have the privilege of adding this iconic wine to their collection.
Vinification Hand harvested. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, continuous pumping over using CO₂, alcoholic fermentation and maceration for 3 weeks. Single ageing for 40 months in new barrels.
40-year-old vines planted on 2 hectares.
