Beautifully extracted and deeply colored, the 2020 Red Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Les Fichots presents intense tones of macerated fruits and spices, complemented by subtle oak. The palate is dense, with tannins that are particularly well highlighted, and it will benefit from some cellar aging to refine further. The wine remains true to the vintage, which was especially successful and generous. Best enjoyed over a decade. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee. |
