Renowned winemaker, at the head of one of the most esteemed estates of the Rhone Valley region, Michel Chapoutier presides over a phenomenal collection of Crus. His talent as a winemaker and his unique knowledge of the vineyard enables him to find the best terroirs for his wines. Of amazing consistency throughout each vintage, his wines are beautiful representations of their appellations.
We never get tired of the inventiveness of this "terroir hunter", and are once again thrilled by this demonstration: two single-variety wines that are captivating and utterly delicious! |

The 2021 white Bituit et Maximus Collines Rhodaniennes IGP is a superb marsanne wine which displays density, generosity and beautiful aromas. The nose opens on notes of yellow and white fruits, with a touch of honey, in a very Rhodanian register. The palate develops a graceful, elegant and rich character, with a beautiful amplitude. It is a wine that is primarily intended for the table, to be associated with fish or white meats with cream, why not slightly spicy. Rated 92+/100 by the Committee. |
