The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine An emblem of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and awarded 2 stars in the RVF Guide, Château de Beaucastel has established itself as one of the most innovative and outstanding estates of the appellation. Its spectacular terroir of rounded pebbles, combined with an intensified perfectionism, creates exceptional, deep, and elegant wines that age beautifully. A cult favorite!
Wine The 2021 red Côtes-du-Rhône Coudoulet shines as a best-seller of its appellation, finding an extraordinary expression in this vintage! Despite the year's climatic challenges, it delivers radiant fullness and balance. Originating from parcels on the border of Châteauneuf, it surpasses its appellation with superb depth and concentration. Added to this are notes of black fruits, juicy cherry, warm stone, and cocoa, all blending into an elegant, velvety, complex, and lingering matrix. A superb Côtes-du-Rhône! Rated 92/100 by Parker.
Vinification Harvested by hand. Traditional maceration in concrete vats for 12 days. Grape varieties vinified separately, then blended after malolactic fermentation. Aged in oak tuns for 6 months.
