The estate and the wine |

This young Nicolas Campagneux estate was born in 2015, and in a very short time it has proven that it can be reckoned with! Nicolas, with 4 hectares in Côte Rôtie, has taken over from his uncle and is making powerful and refined wines in the pure spirit of the Rhône Valley. With parcels located in the best terroirs, including the Grandes Places, he is now in the closed circle of the appellation's new ambassadors! |

Ripe and concentrated, the 2020 red Côte Rôtie La Dédicace Places is a great Syrah with smoky and grilled bacon notes. Youthful and full-bodied, this wine still requires a little patience to relax this dense, tight, tannic palate and this assertive maturation. A very promising wine in the making. Rated 93-95/100 by the Committee. |
