Wine Rooted in the finest granite slopes of the appellation, the 2021 Saint-Joseph Le Passage Red is a quintessential expression of Syrah. Refined and elegant, it reveals delicate spiced notes, fresh and juicy flavours, and velvety tannins. Subtle oak adds depth without overpowering, while the finish lingers beautifully with a touch of violet. A standout Saint-Joseph, capturing the essence of this prized terroir, it’s a Selection Committee favourite, rated 93/100.
Vinification Hand-harvested, de-stemmed, cold-macerated in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, native yeasts, aged 18 months in barrels (10% new wood).
