The estate and the wine |
France's largest wine-producing department, the Gironde, is home to some of the most famous and expensive wines in the world, but also to a very large number of quality bottles with a price-quality ratio that is difficult to match!
Our permanent quest to find conscientious winegrowers leads us today a few kilometers east of Bordeaux to Château Pey La Tour. Set on a clay base, this property produces beautiful terroir wines with a fruity and elegant character that delight us with each vintage. |

The 2017 Château Pey La Tour Réserve is clearly on the right side of the Bordeaux Rive Droite, driven by a radiant Merlot. The notes of red and black fruits, the supple yet consistent palate, and the overall balance deliver a very comfortable wine combining freshness, energy, and aromatic persistence. Unquestionably the qualities of a great Bordeaux with already a lot of harmony! A bottle to open in all circumstances! |
