The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Roche de Bellene is an elite house. Its founder, Nicolas Potel, makes some of the most sensual wines in Burgundy. Very old vines, organic farming… are all finely regulated parameters that forge wines of great caliber, filled with sincere and abundant fruit.
Wine Aged in oak barrels with half in new wood, the 2019 Red Pommard Les Vignots is a micro-cuvée that expresses all the beauty of a perfectly ripe pinot noir, with notes of strawberry and stone fruit. The palate is delicate, elegant, with a perceptible grain of tannin. The whole is fresh, well-balanced, with an aging potential of 5 to 7 years. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested and fermented under indigenous yeasts.
Aged in oak barrels, 50% of which are new, for 17 months.
