The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Our recent tastings only confirm the high level reached by his family estate, which is now among the most highly rated on the Côt de Nuits. From the village appellations to the finest crus, all the wines have the same rigorous execution; no false notes here, which is why we are pleased to present this pure and exceptionally well-crafted wine, set with all the requirements of this elite estate.
Wine Fruity and balanced, the 2019 White Bourgogne Aligoté is a bright, fresh, hyper approachable and dynamic wine. It comes from two parcels of old vines (over 55 years old) on the villages of Morey-Saint-Denis and Couchey that offer ripe, deep and flavorful grapes. A quintessential white wine, with notes of spices, white fruits and citrus fruits, which will be wonderful as an aperitif, with fish or cheese. Irresistible!
Vinification Hand harvested, whole bunch pressing. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged for 12 to 18 months in 600 liter oak barrels for half of the harvest and in vats for the other half.
