The estate and the wine |
Bernard Bouvier is unquestionably one of the most important names in Burgundy. At Domaine René Bouvier, he produces great auteur wines whose fruit precision and palate textures are infinitely just and benevolent.
Day after day, our tastings confirm the high standards achieved by this family estate, which is now one of the most highly-rated on the Côte de Nuits. |
| |
Firmly rooted in its Nuits terroir, the 2020 red Fixin Crais de Chêne displays a fine array of aromas, from pit fruits to spices, tamed by high maturity and restrained ageing. The fleshy structure, with delicate tannins, creates a fresh, harmonious whole, suitable for aging. A very fine achievement, rated 93/100 by the Committee. |
