The estate and the wine |

|
At the foot of the Roche de Solutré, Domaine Trouillet carves wines of great finesse, chardonnays that are the envy of their counterparts from the Côte de Beaune. Praised for their freshness and precision, these cuvées draw from 50-year-old vines and top-quality clay-limestone soils the relief needed for their depth. |

Totally joyful and accessible, the 2022 white Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes displays a ripe nose of fresh, creamy butter, with a pure brightness and well-integrated oak. The palate unfolds a balanced, somewhat rich juice, with a hint of minerality adding tension and a lovely overall freshness. This is a very nice Burgundy, immediately approachable, to be enjoyed leisurely over 5 to 7 years. Rated 92/100 by the Committee. |
