The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine There are three. Three Rhone Valley bosses who wanted to highlight the wines of Seyssuel, one of the most beautiful terroirs of the valley. Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard joined forces at the end of the 90's, in parallel with their own estates, to give new life to the vineyards of Seyssuel. There, they are free to express all their virtuosity and mastery of winemaking. On this vineyard of Allobroge, forgotten since Antiquity, they forge wines of beautiful density and art, that are being praised by every wine lover lucky enough to taste them.
Wine The 2020 White IGP Collines Rhodaniennes Taburnum is a pure viognier wine that comes from schist soils, from the fabulous terroirs of Seyssuel. It is a rich, suave and perfumed wine that has a lot of finesse and class, with beautiful white fruit flavors that are not too overpowering. Delicacy here reigns supreme. A bottle that will be perfect as an aperitif or paired with a rabbit terrine. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, whole crop pressing. Cold settling for 48 hours. Fermentation in barrels and tuns at low temperature with indigenous yeasts for about 4 months. Aged 16 months on lees in French oak barrels.
