The estate and the wine |
|
|
The 2016 red wine from Château Villars Fronsac is the result of a very ripe harvest and a radiant Merlot, delivering an intensely fruity wine with notes of blackcurrant, black fruit, and licorice, with a hint of balsamic and light oak. A fine archetype of balanced Bordeaux with good tannic density, it combines precision, complexity, structure, and finesse. A Selection Committee Favorite rated 93/100. |
