Our committee's review
A true standard-bearer of Minervois, rooted in the heart of the Montagne Noire, Le Loup Blanc crafts wines of emotion with passion. Carine Farre, Alain Rochard, and Benoit Enjalbal produce wines with a fresh, pure backbone, shaped by meticulous biodynamic work and discreet aging across foudres, concrete, and stainless steel.
Finding such an equation of value and pleasure is no easy feat. These two wines are standout successes, praised by the Selection Committee for their finesse, vibrant fruit aromas, and freshness.
Two wines not to be missed, rated 93 and 94 by the Selection Committee!
Utterly charming, the 2024 C Canon Red Vin de France combines finesse, freshness, and subtly spiced fruit with impressive consistency. Its infused, elegant style, laced with a peppery lift on the finish, delivers immediate appeal. With its vibrant fruit-driven energy, this is a wine made for sharing—perfect alongside roast chicken, pâté, or cured meats. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.
The 2021 Le Régal White Vin de France lives up perfectly to its name. This unique blend of Terret, Carignan, and Grenache, aged in large oak demi-muids, reveals striking purity and freshness, with subtle smoky hints, herbal essences, verbena, and delicate spice. Its crystalline structure, remarkable sapidity, and flawless balance make for a long, juicy, and focused wine. A true standout that confirms its place among the great whites of Languedoc. Rated 94/100 by our Selection Committee.
