Wine:

Shaped by a particularly warm and early-ripening vintage, the 2022 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes White is a stunning expression of Chardonnay from the heart of Beaune. The Labruyère family, the largest landowner of this early-ripening terroir, holds exactly 1.4917 hectares in this prized site, which extends from Meursault-Charmes. With its limestone scree and silt soils, this vineyard crafts a white wine of remarkable finesse, revealing subtle floral notes, vibrant tension, and dynamic energy. On the palate, it is exceptionally pure and precise, with a fresh, finely chiseled, and flavorful texture, leading effortlessly to an irresistibly savory finish.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification of whole grapes in oak barrels, with complete malolactic fermentation. Aged in oak barrels for 20 months.
