Wine:

From light, south-west facing limestone soils, the 2023 White Pernand-Vergelesses Les Combottes is a bright, crisp, and refined wine. Its expressive bouquet weaves together fresh fruit aromas—think citrus and white peach—with subtle floral notes and a delicate touch of honey. The palate is structured and well-balanced, underpinned by a pronounced mineral backbone that adds depth and freshness. A perfect match for seafood or goat cheese.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Direct pressing, 100% whole grapes. Settling for 24 hours at low temperature. Fermentation and ageing on lees for 12 months in 350-litre barrels, 20% of which are new, with stirring until July.

Certified organic wine from a Level 3 High Environmental Value (HVE) farm.

Aromas of white flowers punctuated by subtle hints of honey.

Palate:

bright, lively, and elegant, with fresh fruit flavors. This wine offers impressive depth and a pronounced mineral character.
