Wine:

The 2023 White Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru sits at the pinnacle of the estate’s range—a wine of stature and grandeur. Grown on shallow marl-limestone soils bathed in sunlight, these over-50-year-old vines lend an added layer of complexity and depth. This is a powerful, age-worthy wine, matured in 350-liter barrels, one-third of which are new. With time, its flavours of honey and almond will evolve and intensify, while the wine itself gains texture and elegance—never losing the vibrant freshness and marked mineral edge that define its character.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Direct pressing, 100% whole grapes. Settling for 24 hours at low temperature. Fermentation and ageing on lees for 12 months in 350-litre barrels, 30% of which are new, with stirring until July.

Certified organic wine from a Level 3 High Environmental Value (HVE) farm.

Color:

Bright, intense gold.

Nose:

Aromas of white flowers mingled with a mineral and chalky imprint and hints of honey and almond.

Palate:

The palate is bold and commanding, built around precise, pure fruit flavours—think crisp apple, lemon zest, and hints of stone fruit. Crafted for long aging, this cuvée delivers a concentrated, full-bodied expression, with remarkable freshness and a striking mineral tension that brings both depth and finesse.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

Foie gras, shellfish, Arctic char, acacia honey cream sauce, John Dory with vanilla oil, sweetbread with cream, truffled Brillat-Savarin.

Cellar aging:

From today until 2035 and beyond for enthusiasts.
