True to its inimitable style, the Krug Grande Cuvée 171st Edition Champagne is a major success. Made around the 2015 harvest, a blend of 131 wines from 12 different years (the youngest dating from 2015 and the oldest from 2000), this champagne has aged seven years in the cellar, gaining in expression and elegance. It opens with lovely floral, ripe citrus, almond and gingerbread aromas. The palate, magnificent with fuller-bodied flavors, hints of toast, dried fruit and ripe fruit, comes alive with lovely tension. A great Champagne, as always irresistible and impeccably mastered. Rated 94/100 by Parker.
