Massetino 2023 draws you in right away with the depth of its bouquet. Fresh, vibrant red berry aromas set the tone for the vintage. The blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc strikes a perfect balance, delivering both concentration and harmony. It carries all the hallmarks of 2023 generous, persistent, and finishing with a delicate, mouthwatering lift of acidity.

Vinification:

The harvest is carried out by hand. After destemming and a gentle pressing, each parcel is vinified separately. Fermentation begins naturally with indigenous yeasts, at controlled temperatures between 25 and 28°C, with two to three pump-overs per day and délestage when needed. Maceration lasts 21 to 28 days. The wine is then aged for 12 months in barrels, half of which are new, before blending and a further three months of barrel aging prior to bottling.
