Wine:

Produced only in the best vintages, the 2012 red IGT Toscana Solaia is a 10-hectare cru located at an altitude of 400 meters, set on a very specific limestone bedrock. The first vintage, made in 1978, paved the way for the "super Tuscans". Silky, refined, complete and very long, it can dazzle connoisseurs and seduce neophytes with the same emotion. A feat that this 2012 vintage completely renews! Rated 95/100 by Robert Parker, it benefits from a warm and sunny year, underlining the ability of the Cabernets and Sangiovese to age with freshness. The notes of black berries and white pepper melt into a very elegant, intense and deep palate, served by silky tannins. A great wine which is still at the beginning of its course.
