Since Isabel Ferrando took the reins in 2002, Domaine Saint-Préfert has become one of the most sought-after and acclaimed names in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Located in the southern part of the appellation, the estate embodies all the hallmarks of excellence: biodynamic farming, massal selection, meticulous vinification with native yeasts, and carefully managed ageing.
The vineyard itself spans nearly all of Châteauneuf’s geological profiles, and Isabel—now joined by her daughter Guillemette—brings incredible energy to her work. The result is red wines of remarkable freshness and elegance, and whites that are every bit as charming—arguably among the very best in the region.
