From the hidden gem of Chavaroche, perched between Côte Brune and Côte Blonde, the 2022 Côte-Rôtie La Péroline combines power and refinement with effortless elegance. Its noble character is enhanced by impeccably handled ageing, delivering depth, freshness, and a remarkable sense of balance. A shining example of the vintage and a true testament to the art of winemaking.Vinification:
Hand harvested on 30 August 2022. Fermented 100% whole grapes, with temperature control, for 3 weeks. Aged for 24 months in 600-litre oak barrels, 10% of which are new.Production of 2,100 bottles.
100% Syrah, old serine, massal selection for 20 years. 0.5 ha of terraced vines in the Chavaroche area of Ampuis. Vines on average 50 years old.
