The 2023 Bituit and Maximus Red, from the IGP Collines Rhodaniennes, is a beautifully crafted Syrah — approachable, easy-drinking, and bursting with fresh dark fruit aromas and silky tannins. It’s a juicy, charming take on a classic Rhône Valley red, ready to enjoy right now with charcuterie or grilled meats. Scored 93/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested and mechanically picked. Vinification in concrete vats with temperature control. Three weeks' maceration with gentle extraction. Aged for 10 months in concrete vats.

Intense, brilliant red color.

Nose:

Beautiful notes of violet mixed with smoky hints.

Palate:

Seductive and delicious with ripe, fresh fruit, this wine is beautifully delicate, easy to drink and accessible, with delicate tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Platter of artisanal cured meats, braised or grilled meats, Toulouse sausage, cheeses.
