Wine:

Always true to its hallmark of elegance and precision, the 2023 Terrasses du Larzac Red Les Clapas impresses with both brilliance and depth. The nose is highly expressive, opening with smoky, savory notes that recall the finest syrahs of the Rhône Valley. On the palate, the wine is ripe and dense, with a refined texture and remarkable freshness. Whole-cluster vinification brings the finesse and length that have become the estate’s signature. A superb wine, both generous and refined, and one you will have fun pouring blind alongside the great syrahs of the Rhône Valley. Vinification:

Hand harvested, Syrah in whole grapes, Carignan and Grenache co-fermented, 21 days in vats, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in wooden vats, aged in truncated concrete vats.

Nose:

A beautiful Syrah aroma with lovely smoky/bacon notes and a touch of freshness.

Palate:

A dense, juicy texture with delicately spicy flavors and a long, velvety finish.
