Wine:

From a south-facing hillside in a walled vineyard of old vines rooted in flint and clay-limestone soils, the 2023 white Montlouis-sur-Loire Clos Mosny strikes a perfect balance between richness and pure, vibrant flavors. Crafted from only the finest grapes, this Chenin reveals a saline, energetic character that’s both enticing and refreshing, beautifully enhanced by careful barrel aging.

Elegant aromatics with a vibrant interplay of mineral nuances and delicate fruit notes.

A rich and complex cuvée with a vibrant, saline backbone, perfectly complemented by expertly managed aging.

From now until 2032

A visionary of Montlouis-sur-Loire and an inspiration to an entire generation, the late Jacky Blot, who sadly passed away in 2023, elevated Domaine de la Taille aux Loups to the forefront of French winemaking. Starting in 1990, he redefined the quality and identity of the region’s wines, setting a new standard for excellence.

With 2 stars in the Guide RVF and a commitment to organic farming, the estate—spanning Montlouis, Vouvray, and Bourgueil—continues to thrive under the expert leadership of Jean-Philippe Blot. Carrying forward his father’s legacy, Jean-Philippe is dedicated to maintaining the estate’s reputation for crafting exceptional wines.
