Wine:

The 2019 White Hermitage Grand Classique opens with a fresh, pure and complex nose, with dominant floral notes and a strong identification to this great terroir. The palate offers the largesse of the appellation, its amplitude, with a supple woodiness and a nice lengthy finish. A very beautiful bottle to be discovered over the next fifteen years. A Selection Committee Favorite rated 96/100.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, soft pressing. Maturation in new barrels for 30% of the volume, the rest in barrels of 1, 2 and 3 wines, on fine lees for about 8 months with regular stirring.

Bright golden yellow, of good intensity.

Nose:

Of beautiful freshness, marked by floral notes

Palate:

Ample and rich , this wine offers us a palate of good length and depth, with a mastered and enveloping woodiness.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Brouillade of eggs and white truffle of Alba, sea bass with fennel, gratin of cicada de mer, scallops with crayfish butter, prawns with American sauce.
