Opus One is more than a wine — it’s a legend. Born in the late 1970s from two titans of the wine world, Philippe de Rothschild of Château Mouton Rothschild and California’s Robert Mondavi, it set out with one clear ambition: to rewrite the global hierarchy of fine wine by putting a Californian terroir on equal footing with Bordeaux. Mission accomplished.

Like its Pauillac counterpart Mouton Rothschild, Opus One ignites passion and exerts a magnetic pull on collectors everywhere. On these Californian soils, Cabernet Sauvignon delivers one of its most complete and dazzling expressions, sharpened by the Bordeaux savoir-faire of a Grand Cru Classé. It belongs to no classification and tolerates no comparison — its style and aura place it in a league of its own.
